Winter Weather Advisory Issued for DC Area, Up to 2" of Snow Possible

A winter weather advisory has been issued for the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas going into effect at 1:00 PM and lasting until 7:00 PM.

According to WJLA, 1-2" of snow is possible and is likely to stick to the roadways as low temperatures continue throughout the region. 

The potential snow could be quite troublesome for the Friday afternoon commute.

Temperatures are expected to rise over the weekend, reaching a high of close to 50° by Sunday.
