Two DC Skateboarders Help Lady Ride for the First Time at Freedom Plaza

A video clip (taken before COVID) that was uploaded to TikTok yesterday is going viral, nearing 100k views in less than 24 hours.

It's from Kevin Perez, a videographer/editor of primarily skateboarders performing tricks in various locales around town.

But the rider he filmed in the clip stands out. That's because she's an older lady who just so happens to be trying skateboarding for the first time ever. The clip was filmed in Freedom Plaza in NW DC as two skateboarders hold each of her arms so she can keep her balance.

The pure joy and excitement on her face to be riding is a perfect moment of people from different generations and backgrounds working together.
