Metro is considering future changes to ease overcrowding.

The agency is looking at four possible options for building a second tunnel between D.C. and Virginia to faster service on the Blue, Silver and Orange lines. Each one would create stations in Georgetown, add a second Rosslyn station, and connect Farragut North with Farragut West by a walkway.

The board will discuss this Thursday before asking for public input.
